Shawn & Destinee:
Shawn was thrilled to be driving with his recently released love, Destinee. She loved her prison pickup flowers and lunch bag tacos that Shawn had packed for the car ride (hopefully he had a Capri Sun and Doritos too). The new couple was headed right from prison to meet with Destinee’s family at a nice restaurant for lunch. (Totally random, but I could picture Destinee’s mom with John, if things don’t work out with Kristiana. I can picture her at a roadside wedding with the fringe jacket on). Destinee’s family does not seem sold on Shawn, especially since he lied about his age and the number of children he has (oops). Destinee’s sister, especially, is worried that Shawn might be a serial killer (probably that weird creepy mustache shadow he’s got going on). Destinee isn’t 100% positive if she’s ready to settle down, but she did love those car tacos, so she’s willing to give it a try. She was, however, very put off to hear that Shawn had 4 more kids than the 2 he had mentioned in his prison letters. She tried to dig out more truths from him about important topics, but he was very evasive.
They arrived at their love nest of a hotel room where things got steamy. Destinee secretly told the cameras that she had a few prison relationships with women that she would not be giving up, even though she was now in a serious committed relationship with a man who’s age she isn’t sure of. She also took the cameras on a tour of her horrible prison tattoos of all of her former lady loves that she hopes to get covered up to make room for the future.
Scott & Lindsay:
Scott is sitting like a 2 year old at the airport with his nose pressed against the glass, watching the passengers deplane and desperately looking for Lindsay. His limo steaks were getting cold, and he was starting to get nervous (so nervous that his lip swelled up 4 times the size….or he’s a missing Silva twin. Either way). As the passengers exiting the plane thinned out, he was feeling a knot in his stomach realizing Lindsay was not coming. Afraid to let a good steak go to waste, he ended up having dinner with the limo driver, no Lindsay to be found.
The next day, Lindsay’s mother and daughter arrived at Scott’s house, very disappointed and upset about her no-show. Scott, being super proactive, did not even say hello upon their arrival, but rather waved his phone at them to signal he was on hold with the correctional facility to find out what the hell happened.
Though they did not reveal what had happened, it was confirmed that Lindsay was still in prison (probably running that place… she seems crafty!) She’s probably not ready to get out and go home to Scott and his lip, so she made sure to extend her stay. Hopefully next week we can find out more.
Tyrice & Chanda:
Tyrice’s kids are not thrilled with the idea of their father dating his inmate shorty, Chanda. Between the pretty large age difference and the fact that he’s been sending her money while she was in prison, the kids don’t think the relationship is genuine. Tyrice assures his adult children that he would never “let a m*therf*cker use him” (or fatherf*cker in this instance), but his kids are not sold. Tyrice is a nice looking, stable guy… not sure why he had to take a dip in the prison dating pool…. (though I’m pretty sure it has something to do with that thing following Chanda around behind her that’s peeking his interest).
As release day was fast approaching, Tyrice wanted to have an assortment of underwear options waiting for Chanda. He mosied over to an adult store to pick up some necessities, feeling confident that their physical relationship will be amazing.
He then headed to the prison to retrieve his lady friend wearing his sophisticated blue suit and coordinating shoes. He stood on the side of the road, using binoculars to see if Chanda was coming out of the prison. Until next week!
Jessica & Maurice:
Jaurice (their celebrity name) headed out of their ritzy hotel straight to Compton to speak with Maruice’s parole officer about transferring to Las Vegas. He wants to be able to start fresh, without the threats of his past as a Compton Crip (they love saying that phrase at least twice an episode). Maurice and Jessica headed over to see his daughter, whose life he has missed out on since being incarcerated. It was a happy reunion, and it seems as though Jessica even has a good relationship with her. It was pretty awkward to watch Jessica sit in the corner while Maurice reunited with his Baby Mama and her family, though she seemed to do her best considering. Once in the privacy of the car, Jessica explained to Maurice that she felt really uncomfortable being the outcast corner girlfriend, but Maurice tried to reassure her everything was fine (though she knew full well everyone was probably talking about her the minute she left).
From there they went to Maurice’s cousin Rony’s house ( pretty sure his mom craved rice throughout her entire pregnancy). Rony had all of the info on Maurice’s old thug life friends, most of which are dead or in prison. He was reading obituary pages on the coffee table (next to a glass chess set, might I add, which really classed up the entire episode…), and realizing how badly he needs to transfer his parole to Las Vegas. The couple had to take their mind off of obituaries and chess, so they walked to a convenient store, where they were stopped by a guy yelling threats to Maurice from his car window. Jessica is not a Compton Cripkeeper in any way shape or form, and hopefully they can get back to Vegas stat.
Quaylon & Shavel:
It was a tearful reunion as Quaylon walked out of the prison and into the arms of his mother Qualandria and Shovel (listen, my computer wants to autocorrect to Shovel and I’m no longer fighting it). He has just finished 12 years of inquarceration and is ready to start his new life on the outside. They all piled into the quar and drove to a BBQ joint for freedom ribs and cornbread.
Qualandria had to have a serious conversation with her son about where he would be living in the free world. She would really prefer that he moved with her to Houston (like he agreed to), however, Shovel wants him to stay with her in Quansas City. Both women are sure of one thing; they want to make sure Quaylon stays out of prison for good.
He shoved his mom in an Uber so he could run upstairs to have relations with Shovel in their rose petal ridden bed because, romance.
John & Kristiana:
Kristiana was having wedding dress issues, as the dress John picked out for her for their roadside nuptials was way too small. She threw back on her civilian clothes paired with a native inspired suede jacket, as the two exchanged vows on the median. The Native ceremony was beautiful, with some chanting, a little tambourine action….probably everything she ever dreamed of. Now the race is on to get the bride to the halfway house on time to avoid being sent back to jail. They loaded up the ceremony into the bed of the truck and raced down the highway (Would this technically be their honeymoon??)
Once the lovebirds reached the halfway house, Kristiana revealed that she had been to that particular location 4 times before. Let’s hope 5th time’s a charm!
