Happily Ever After; Season 9 Episode 10

Since they now have made up, Brandon and Julia decided to take her parents to visit Betty and Ron down on the family farm. Boris and Natasha marveled at all of the animal sights and scents, though they seemed to be more impressed with the hot sauce at dinner than the entire menagerie (Father Julia is going to pack a few bottles away to bring home to put on his borscht). Julia and Betty tried to make a truce, as they hoped to be drama-free for their upcoming trip to Miami for the pointless wedding do-over.
When they arrived in Miami, Julia was immediately annoyed by Betty’s micro-management style. As she discussed her outdoor wedding plans, Betty expressed that it might be a good idea to have a contingency plan in case of rain. For some reason just hearing that Betty was trying to “rain on her parade” drove Julia crazy, as she used her best spoiled brat attitude to shut her down.
Later on, Julia took her parents aside to let them know about her plans to import them to the US for good. Unfortunately her parents wanted to stay put in Mother Russia (despite the lack of hot sauce), which seemed to be news to her. And guess what??? It started raining (I did a rain dance for the occasion).

Back at the fancy dog launch party…..Libby was fighting with Loren and Alexei over something stupid, as Undrrrrei stepped in to spit all over everyone as he told them his “fots”. Yara began screaming to break up the catfight, using a pitch volume that only dogs could hear (But not fancy dogs, because they’re all fluffy inside of leather handbags). The moral of the story is, no one needs fancy dog gear.

Jasmine and her roommate/not boyfriend Matt were having a heart to heart on a romantic carriage ride around Michigan. He tried to get her to commit to being together (Even though they were already living together, sleeping together, having a baby together, and…like…together). Jasmine warned him about all of her emotional and physical baggage (The Fashion Nova clothing hauls AND the whole deal with Gino), as he reassured her that things would be great. He was hoping she would commit to giving their couplehood a chance, especially since he planned to move to Florida and wanted her to tag along. Jasmine freaked out, as expected, feeling too pressured to make a decision between a sane mutual relationship or continuing to pine over the Mad Hatter.

Gino met up with his nephew to discuss the latest Jasmine drama, as well as all of the family drama. Apparently Cousin Dana (who was very skeptical of Jasmine from the beginning) and his wife Michelle were now #TeamJasmine, and had turned their back on their cuGino.

Darcey and Georgi seemed to be enjoying their time together in his childhood bedroom in Bulgaria, even though the native food was giving Darce a “food baby” that she incessantly talked about. After hearing about Darcey’s Bulgarian bowel problems, the two met up with the Parents Georgi, who surprised them with the news that they planned an anniversary party to celebrate the couple staying together one consecutive year out of the 6 they’ve been together.
Later on the anniversary pair set off to tour the old country, with Darcey donning her most couture “Babushka” look (Now available at HouseOfEleven, Bulgaria). She took a break to call her counterpart, Stacey, to make sure she and Florian would be in attendance for her surprise Bulgarian anniversary party. It’s going to be so snatched.

Kara and Guillermo were in their beautiful bed and breakfast, making a desperate attempt to save their marriage. Guillermo expressed his concerns about Kara’s “Girls’ Nights”, where she was out until all hours of the night bachata-ing around while her ex boyfriend djed. The two couldn’t seem to see eye to eye, and basically wasted a lot of champagne and flowers. Kara returned the accusations, claiming that both her mother and stepfather felt like Guillermo might be seeing someone else. Though he denied it, Kara decided it was pointless, since she realized he was not “her person”. I hate it when mom and dad fight…
