Love After Lockup: Season 2, Episode 5

Megan Ma-queen/Sarah/Ghetto Accent Sarah/Michael/New Female Maria…..anyone else?? Anyone?? ….Bueller??:

Sarah unleashed the accent in full effect all over Michael. There was clapping, dropping it low, wild hand gestures, head movements…..it was a virtual ghetto zumba class. Bust out that flat tummy app, Sarah, because that conversation counted as cardio!!
Wow. As far as the content of the conversation goes….I guess the idea is that Michael comes around when he feels like it, sometimes with a new queen with crazy eyebrows, then takes off again, leaving the kids without a dad for the most part. I think that’s what Sarah was trying to articulate through interpretive dance.
Meanwhile, back at the Redroof Inn, Maria is waiting for her soul husband by the jacuzzi. She claims to have a “plan B” for the 5michael/Sarah/kids situation (and hopefully some regular Plan B on hand, since shes spending the weekend in a hotel with Michael). The previews seem to show her meeting up with Sarah, and I’m just going to sit here with the popcorn……

Angela & Tony
Angela finished her spy games and went inside to let Tony know he passed his test. Gold star on the fridge sign next to the “no prostitues/no cheating” section! This is when we got to see the exquisite painting of a motorcycle on the wall that Tony either made Angela while he was doing prison arts and crafts (in which case it was made with soy sauce, ketchup, and cheeto dust), or on a “sip and paint” date night. With renewed hope, she’s looking forward to rekindling their romantic life. She also felt Tony could benefit from a little counseling from a local pastor. Tony opens up about his troubled childhood, his bad relationship with his father, and possible reasons for his troubled past and infidelity issues. Maybe Tony will turn a new leaf, and get to focus more on his art.

Brittany & Marcelino:
Brittany is determined to find her kids that were taken for adoption when she was a Beyond Scared Straight Teen Mom. She learns through court documents that her ex baby daddy may have had interaction with her young children eventhough he would have been considered a sex offender, seeing as how she was pregnant and underage. It’s really a sad situation, and hopefully she considers what’s best for these young kids. The previews for the next episode show Marcelino acting a little shady….we shall see!

Andrea & Lamar:
Lamar and Andrea had all of the makings of what should have been a romantic dinner; a scenic waterfall machine, spaghetti & meatballs, and Lamar’s cool hat. Andrea had to bring up the fact that Lamar has changed their plans since his prison release. He was supposed to parole in Utah, but stayed in California and now doesn’t want to leave. Lamar actually seems like a decent guy. It’s hard to imagine that hes being a complete angel living in L.A. without his family, but part of me wants to believe it because I just like him.

Lacy/Shane/shajohn:
Lacy and Shane took time machine back to 1992 and went roller skating.They TOTALLY look like people you would see at the skating rink, couple skating with their bad hair, bad tattoos, and bad eyebrow piercings. Shane wiped out on his skates at least 5 times. He decides since they’re having so much fun (and he probably already had a broken nose), he may as well tell Lacy that he cheated on her before their wedding in a rage of jealousy over Sha-John. Lacy of course gets mad and speeds off in her car (hopefully leaving the rental skates), while Shane is stranded.
Also in this episode, Sha-John was chatting with his sister about his plans to win back Lacy. He might just have the chance.

Unnoticeablely missing were Cheryl and Josh, who may have broken up and gotten back together 3 times during this episode.
