90 Day Fiance- The Other Way; Season 6 Episode 3

Corona & Inky/Ingi:

Back in Philadelphia (Where they showed Pat’s and Geno’s, when Jim’s is far superior….) Corona was packing her entire Hot Topic wardrobe in preparation for her big move to Iceland. She hand delivered her 2 naked cat-like creatures (“Tits” and “Trix”) to the bearded lady, as they would most likely freeze to death if she brought them along (Or at least would require their own tiny goth cat sweaters). As she traveled to the airport, Corona felt nervous about being one of the only black people in her new country, as well as starting this serious journey with a 38 year old man who has never been in a serious relationship. She hugged her friends before setting off on her plane ride to the volcano land. Back in Iceland, we finally got to meet Ingi, the giant Nordic man, who is also a bit of a giant nerd. He explained his love for role playing games, as well as spending his past time with his close knit group of friends from kindergarten. All of the Friends Ingi were shocked to hear he had met someone and would soon be settling down, though Ingi seemed to think his new relationship would only mean partying slightly less. He felt that Corona was the first woman to check all of his boxes, but I’m guessing that’s because there are very few twerking doulas in Iceland. Looking forward to seeing these two together, especially since he has yet to see her crazy temper. On a scale of 1 to Jasmine/Larissa, where do you think Corona will rate on yelling??

Statler & Dempsey:

In preparation for her upcoming big move, Statler felt she needed a bit more cash flow. She took her car, whom she lovingly named “Aspen”, to the dealership, waiting to see if she’d be able to go through with the deal. She pulled into the car lot and explained her plight to both the salesman AND her car, as she felt she could really use the money to fund her new van lifestyle with Dempsey across the pond. In addition to the potential car money, Statler also took out a $20,000 loan, and made it known that she would be the sole breadwinner out of the two on this adventure. Though the salesman offered her $18,000, Dempsey decided to stick with her precious Aspen, just in case things didn’t work out overseas and she needed a real friend. Later on we saw Statler packing her suitcase, displaying her usual anxiety, as a text from Dempsey seemed to up the ante. Apparently there was a miscommunication about their available funds, and it seems their new van-home was going to be more than Statler had originally thought. She blamed this little hiccup on a miscalculation, as she forgot to convert the amount of dollars needed into pounds. The two went back and forth on video chat in monotone, trying to come up with a way to find enough money to make their stupid dream come true.

Josh & Lily:

Would you please refrain from chewing? You’re driving me crazy, thank you. Back in South Carolina, Josh prepared for his big flight to China to be reunited with his rich wife, Lily. He was driven to the airport by his loud-chewing parents, who watched as he set out on his newest journey with wife # 3. Josh was excited to finally arrive in China, as he headed off in a cab towards his new home. During the ride, he used his trusty Jihoon translator app to try and make small talk with the cabbie, asking if it was common in China or a wife to support a husband financially. Of course the cab driver told him to get a job (I hope the cabbie made some noise for the rest of the drive that drove him totally insane). Meanwhile, Lily was busy readying her new expensive house for Josh’s homecoming. She went over all of her expenses and financial woes, seeming to be complaining, but yet with a smile on her face. In her most robotic tone, she explained that she had to build walk-in closets, fancy bathrooms, and special lighted display cases for her hair bows in order to ensure Josh felt more at home. Previews for next week suggest that Lily-bot3000 will be throwing the money situation in Josh’s face constantly. The good news is, they can’t understand each other, and he also has ear plugs. I feel like Lily reminds me partly of Violet (of Riley and Violet) but with way better taste in home decor.

Shekinah & The Sarper Image:

Shekinah had finally arrived back at the most visited site in Istanbul- Sarper’s bachelor pad. She was immediately angry over the continued display of Sarper’s famous bottle collection, as well as the fact that the place was a mess. She was deeply disappointed that Sarpy hadn’t had things set up for her upon her return, feeling it was inconsiderate. They began to argue, with Shekinah trying her best to get the Turkish Deuce Bigalow to understand where she was coming from. In the hopes of making him jealous, she pulled out her infamous 143 page love letter in her trapper keeper. Sarper glanced at the binder blankly before throwing it on the floor, probably so he could come back later and count the letters on each page (You how he feels about counting).
