Love After Lockup; S4, EP 6

Lisa & Stan:
A short haired Lisa spent the evening at a hotel, reflecting on her big fight with Stanley from the night before. Stanley was at home, as his friend came over to discuss the Lisa situation. Stanley’s friend was #teamlisa in this fight, and even Stan the man seemed to be remorseful.
Lisa was feeling pretty bad (between Stanley, her kid, and the thought of the straight jacket) so she decided to have her hair done for a little “pick me up”. She bought a bunch of cheap weave from a beauty supply store and headed off to one of her ex-prison pal’s salons for a makeover. Being that Lisa’s hair was so short, there wasn’t much for the extensions to clip into, causing her entire head to look like she had gotten into a fight with a weedwacker and lost. Nevertheless, she made the look work the best she could (though any of the three wigs Stan bought would have been way better).
Stanley cleaned up real nice, as he said a quick prayer before heading out to a swanky restaurant to meet Lisa. He had invited her via text message, but hadn’t heard back, and was crossing his creepy fingers that she would just magically appear.
After about an hour, Lisa made her grand entrance, smushed into a lumpy black dress, walking awkwardly in her heels like a newborn fawn, as her long blond ramen noodle hair flowed in the breeze. She confronted Stanley about his outburst the night before, who blamed his actions on his one glass of wine. Stanley interrupted their conversation by suggesting they go back to his place for a night cap and a side of night terrors. Can’t wait to see their touching reunion.

Nicolle & Daonte:

Daonte went to pick up his prison Barbie from the salon, bringing her a selection of outfits to choose from  for their big night out on the town. Nicolle was excited to be able to legally go to a bar, since she was behind a different kind of bars for her 21st birthday. Nicolle had invited her bunkie friend as well as the infamous “Tia”, and Daonte brought along his buddy Derick as well.
Derick had a line of questions ready for Nicolle to answer, kicking things off by questioning Nicolle’s intentions for her relationship with Daonte. Even though she did all that she could to answer vaguely and make herself sound genuine, Derek was still very skeptical. He also inquired if she had had any relations while in prison, to which she answered yes, and went into detail. Daonte was completely shocked to hear about Nicolle’s lady relations, especially sine she was still denying him total access due to issues with physical touch. He flew off the handle, running outside of the restaurant, and accused Nicolle of only wanting him for his money and lavish gifts.
The prison playa claimed she would have still talked to Daonte even if he hadn’t spent all of his money on her and saved himself but for a small toy in her likeness. Daonte’s friend Derick was not buying any of Nicolle’s act, and tried to warn his buddy that he was being taken for a ride. To prove her commitment to the relationship and keep the gifts flowing, Nicolle decided to go back with Daonte to his house. Although things seemed like they were about to get steamy, she wanted to remain virtuous and decided to sleep in the other room. After sufficiently teasing Daonte to the point where he needed alone time with Nicolle Jr, she retired to her separate quarters, where she stripped down to a bra and wedgie for a little late night secret conversation with her ex boyfriend. Daonte is a lucky man.

Britney & Ray:

Britney is ready for Ray’s homecoming, and super excited that she will have him all to herself. Part of Ray’s parole is that he has to be confined 24/7 to Britney’s house for 2 ½ months, which delighted her to no end (she’s like a middle class Kathy Bates in “Misery”). Britney’s parents, on the other hand, are not as thrilled with the relationship, and don’t even know that Ray is about to be stationed at her house.
We then saw Britney getting glammed up by her sister, who was in on the whole Ray plan. She had promised not to rat her sister out to their parents, and hoped things worked out for the best. It was finally time for Britney to pick up her hostage from the halfway house, but she was shocked when she saw his grandmother roll up in the parking lot. I hope they have a fight over who gets to kidnap Ray, because this story needs a bit more excitement.

Rachel & Doug:

Doug got the bright idea to surprise his father before Father’s Day, even though it was not cleared with his parole officer. Rachel was hesitant to take the 2 hour ride, worried about the infraction sending Doug back to prison. Despite all of her concern, Rachel went along with the plan and drove Doug to see all of the other Dougs he’s related to. Apparently this wasn’t the first time Rachel would be meeting the family, as she had spent time with them while he was still inquarcerated (Sorry, I’ve spelled it that way ever since Quaylon came into the picture). Doug greeted his family with a heartwarming “What’s up, you little son of a bitch”, for a memorable reunion.  Doug’s family was reminiscent of a Juggalo convention, as they sat in the front yard catching up, presumably drinking Mountain Dew. Everyone seemed to get along well with Rachel, especially Doug’s father (Other Doug), who warned his son not to mess things up. Doug explained that his father had been diagnosed with something-or-other cancer, stage whatever, and it seemed important for him to spend as much time with his old man as possible. Doug’s sister Ashely (who was surprisingly not named “Douglina”) randomly put Douggie Jr on front street, announcing to the entire family that she found some private letters he had written in his bedroom, threatening to read them aloud. Doug Sr egged her on, smiling and saying he would like to read them as well, while poor Douggie Jr was mortified, and looked like he was about to have a mental breakdown. The other sister, Crystal (with a lovely shade of fried pink hair) tried to get them to stop torturing the poor kid, which sparked a screaming match in front of everyone. Rachel hugged and consoled Douggie Jr., really being the only obvious person he could lean on. That poor kid needs to change his name and dig his way out of the Doug-out asap, and ride off on the moped with Rachel.

Anissa & Jeff:

Anissa got all dressed up to head from her hotel over to Jeff’s halfway house to spend time together. Unfortunately, Jeff hadn’t yet gotten his ankle monitor strapped on and was unable to leave the premises or have her come to visit. He was, however, permitted to accept supplies and cash, which she willingly placed on a picnic table outside of the facility for a sketchy hand off. Anissa left, sadly, disappointed that she would have to wait even longer for a night of passion with her toothless wonder.
