Amelia & Bennett:

Things with Amelia and Bennett seem to be off to a great start. They loved each other’s bizarre sleep attire, and their random conversation is flowing like Amelia’s armpit hair.

Bennett met up with Amelia’s mom and brother for brunch to chat, while Bennett sat in his chair with his leg up the entire time. Amelia’s mom seems to be all sunshine and rainbows much like her daughter, and was a Bennett fan right away. They discussed the possibility of moving for Amelia’s residency, which Bennett seemed open to. Amelia went to meet Bennett’s parents and sister who thought she was great. His sister took it upon herself to divulge the fact that Bennett thinks it’s “morally unethical” to have biological children (which is the most Bennett thing I’ve heard yet), and Amelia didn’t seem too scared off.

When the couple met back up later, they BOTH sat with one leg up and discussed family brunch swap. Amelia seemed open to the idea of adopting kids, but they both agreed it’s kind of soon to be talking about that just yet.

Next they were off to Mexico! Amelia put on a crazy flowered hat and equally as dorky outfit as her traveling look. They arrived and scoped out the hotel room, making dorky conversation all the while. They were the only two to dive into the hotel river the first night, and seemed to be having a great time.

Woody & Amani:

Woodmani were the cutest, waking up and having croissants in bed. Amani went to meet up with Woody’s family who seem to be as feisty as he is. Woody’s mom revealed that he has a bit of a temper at times, which Amani seemed to take note of and is prepared to shut it down.

They all got along well, and she was as calm and poised as ever.

Woody was killin’ it with Amani’s family. They seemed to really like him, as he’s very honest and quite a character.

The couple met back up, and they are just too cute together. Woody seems really into her, still dancing while he’s standing still, and she seems to be warming up to him very quickly.

They were dancing all the way from their hotel room to the airport, as they traveled to Mexico for their honeymoon. They seem to be clicking really well and warming up to each other fast.

Karen & Miles:

Poor Karen seemed to have been sick and lost her voice, making their wedding night less than romantic. The couple woke up and discussed all that happened at the wedding, and they seemed to be getting more comfortable. Miles met up with Karen’s family for brunch so they could grill him on his intentions and get to know him a bit better. Karen’s mom seemed to be tough at first, but really likes Miles so far and is warming up to the whole marrying a stranger idea.

Karen also met up with his family for brunch, where Miles’s dominatrix mother asked the question “How do you feel about submission??” (Ok, I get she was asking about traditional roles within a relationship, but that was a super weird way to phrase that, especially with someone you don’t know…). Karen seemed to answer gracefully, and seemed to have the same values as his parents. The couple reconvened to discuss the brunch, and were both pretty happy with how things went. They packed their bags for their honeymoon in Mexico, with Miles having a separate suitcase just for his sneakers. They reached their hotel where Karen was really into talking about all of the many foods she ate, before blacking out in the bed over the covers. Exciting stuff!

Olivia & Brett:

The couple seemed to be getting along well with each other in the morning, as they swapped families for brunch time. Olivia met up with the goofball brothers, being her sweet self, enduring the ball busting. She revealed her “indifferent” outlook on the topic of having kids, which seemed a bit surprising, not that there’s anything wrong with that. The brothers seem to really like her, as she put up with them and also passed their internet stalking test.

Brett met up with Olivia’s family, who were way more serious than his own. They jumped right into an intense topic of religion, which Brett kind of tiptoed around, saying he was Agnostic but “appreciated Christian values”. They did, however, seem to like and respect Brett (good thing they didn’t see the bachelor party episode yet!).

Olivia and Brett packed their bags and were excited to head out to Mexico for the honeymoon. They seem to be getting along so far, but I have a feeling there will be troubles ahead soon.

Christina & Henry:

It was so painful to watch Christina and Henry in their hotel room after the wedding. It’s hard to say whether Henry is just severely shy and nervous about being on camera, or if he is actually that boring in person. The morning was equally as torturous as the couple headed out to swap families.

Christina sat down with Henry’s parents, who seemed to be taking full advantage of the free brunch. His dad (Bobby Boucher’s dad) was rudely roasting Henry left and right, which Christina seemed to enjoy. She got along with them well, but probably was just relieved to be having a conversation with people who actually talked.

Henry met up with Christina’s family, giving them one word answers and not much chit chat in between. They reveal that communication and deep conversation is the one thing Christina will need in a relationship, so…… can everyone just go home right now? Because clearly that’s going to be an issue.

They headed off to Mexico, with Christina mentioning every 5 minutes that it’s Henry’s first time out of the country. She tried to loosen him up with some Tequila in the hotel room, probably realizing she’s going to need more than one bottle.
